Hot!

The weather in Hong Kong is not that good today. It is very humid. After the shower rain, I sweat instantly even I am sitting in front of my laptop. Not talking to do any metal hammering work.

I had this lovely salsa at the Four Season last week. And it inspired me for tonight's dinner, I have a bag of juicy bell pepper in rainbow colors, green, yellow and red. Full of nutrient!

Shrimp and bell pepper pasta! More about it tomorrow.

Dinner is ready

House is cleaned. Chicken wings are cooked. Cabbage is washed. Dinner is ready. Not yet, until he is home.

Summer Retreat

Me and my husband had a good time in Macau this weekend. This was the very first time we had a relaxing high tea at the Four Seasons Hotel. My favourite was the scone (I have to confess I ate equal portion of fresh cream with scone!!)

Do you remember Gwyneth Paltrow? She is on a stylish blog, GOOP, which I have spent lots of time reading once discovered via Ez! The blog design is tasteful and cute! Gwyneth has given lots of great tips of being a modern lady on fashion and life.

My favourite newsletters would be the Little Black Dress and My Uniform. Gwyneth has demonstrated how to have an economical but stylish wardrobe.

She has been my new idol!

My friends have been accusing me having a retarded life as a housewife / artist.  However, they did not realize the truth.  Here is my daily routine.

 

• Wake up (but still lack of sleep)
• Update shop
• Check emails for conversation from shop - which most of the emails do not trigger sales
• Breakfast
• Take photos for new creations
• Housewife Duty: Go supermarket / Cleaning / Laundry
• Prepare Dinner
• Hubby's back
• Cook
• Wash dishes / tidy up
• Watch TV and chat with Hubby
• Update shop / Blog
• Handmade new creations
• Bath & bed

 

Unlike previous corporate working environment, there are no phone calls / client meetings, no shopping for brand new handbags, shoes, any unnecessary but definitely pretty fashion items :) , no bonus, no expensive dinners and cocktails

 

I am happy with my new life!

Paper n Stitch is a bravo place which invites brilliant artists to showcase their handmade work!  I love the layout which is simple but artistic. 

 Terry Graziano has been the recent featured artist!  Her handmade hats are so innovative and cute!  I wish I have guts to wear them in Hong Kong as well!  Hopefully people will look me with admiration.  Hahah :)

MAE happens to be another lovely shop!  Featuring with washable wall decor stickers.  I always like things to make my home pretty.  And MAE's work best suits a calming and cute room!
